Individuals, associations and companies can support Bolzano Danza Festival and help promote the arts in South Tyrol in a number of ways. The festival is a cultural event which breaks down language and cultural barriers to build community. It involves music, design, architecture and the visual arts. From July 18 to August 1, join us for the 41st edition of Bolzano Danza, under the bold new artistic direction of Anouk Aspisi & Olivier Dubois.
Two weeks of electrifying dance and performances, featuring international stars and Italy’s most exciting rising talents.
Fancy a sneak peek?
The festival will open on July 18 with the Italian premiere of HELIKOPTER/LICHT, a new creation by one of the most influential figures on the global scene, French choreographer Angelin Preljocaj. This will be followed by Delirious Night by Danish choreographer Mette Ingvartsen (July 25), Asteroide by Italian Marco D’Agostin (July 28), and Louise by Swiss director Martin Zimmermann (July 29 & 30)…and that’s just a glimpse of what’s to come!
Another exciting highlight this year: ExtraDanza (July 26) – an all-day, all-style outdoor celebration of dance. Local vibes, regional energy, and a chance for everybody to dance.
The full program, tickets and subscriptions will be revealed on May 13 in Bolzano. Mark your calendars and stay tuned!
