Individuals, associations and companies can support Bolzano Danza Festival and help promote the arts in South Tyrol in a number of ways. The festival is a cultural event which breaks down language and cultural barriers to build community. It involves music, design, architecture and the visual arts. A colourful dance journey about friendship, transformation and the wonder of encountering the other. Two brightly coloured beings from an unknown world travel side by side on their glowing pods. Beneath their feet, shimmering traces of gold and silver appear. They spin endlessly like DNA spirals — half human, half animal, always in motion. On their quiet journey through mysterious, shifting landscapes, they gradually draw closer, discovering both the unfamiliar and the familiar in one another. When their bodies touch, a new green skin begins to grow: a shared transformation, echoing the joyful rituals of spring once celebrated in ancient festivals. Inspired by Little Blue and Little Yellow, the beloved children’s book by Leo Lionni, this gentle and colorful performance celebrates the value of being different and the beauty of creating something new, together.
