Individuals, associations and companies can support Bolzano Danza Festival and help promote the arts in South Tyrol in a number of ways. The festival is a cultural event which breaks down language and cultural barriers to build community. It involves music, design, architecture and the visual arts. When you support the festival, you support culture, integration, sustainability and… beauty!

A great celebration of dance in the heart of Bolzano: EXTRADANZA returns after the great success of its first edition, which involved over 200 artists and more than a thousand spectators.
On Saturday, July 18, 2026, starting from 5:00 PM, the scenic Talvera meadows in Bolzano will host the new edition of this unique project, part of the program for the 42nd edition of the Bolzano Danza Festival.
Do you want to join in and dance?
This year, Bolzano Danza once again invites dance schools, amateur groups, local associations, and artists from Trentino-South Tyrol to become part of the program. From hip-hop to ballet, Bollywood-inspired dance to jazz, and Latin rhythms to traditional forms—EXTRADANZA thrives on diversity and openness.
How to participate
Individuals or groups of up to ten people can submit a project with a maximum duration of 20 minutes. Please send us a short video introducing your contribution and the planned performance.
The Call is open until March 15, 2026.
The selection will be made by the artistic direction duo of the Bolzano Danza festival, Anouk Aspisi and Olivier Dubois, together with Sharon Booth, the festival’s workshop coordinator.
