Would you like to experience an international festival up close, immersed in art, movement, and creative energy?
Become an active part of the festival: join the Bolzano Danza volunteer team!
From July 18 to August 1, 2025, Bolzano Danza turns the city into a vibrant open-air stage, with performances, outdoor shows, special events, and meetings with artists from all over the world.
It’s an immersive experience that brings together audiences, professionals, and volunteers in a large-scale collective project.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for enthusiastic people with a team spirit, an interest in live performance, great interpersonal skills, and a willingness to step out of their comfort zone… ideally with their own car and some knowledge of English (other languages are a plus!).
Getting involved is easy. Here’s what you need:
-
to be 18 or older;
-
to be available for at least 7 days or evenings during the festival period;
-
to attend 2–3 introductory and coordination meetings starting in early July.
What you’ll do
Joining the Bolzano Danza volunteer team means experiencing every moment of the festival from the inside, contributing first-hand to its unique and dynamic atmosphere.
You’ll be involved in a variety of essential tasks, such as:
-
welcoming artists and guests at theatres and outdoor venues;
-
greeting visitors and running the Festival’s infopoint;
-
supporting the production and communication teams across the many events that will animate the city;
-
assisting the audience during performances;
-
providing logistical support for the transportation of the team and/or artists (for those with their own car – driver/runner roles).
What we offer
he volunteer team is a true community: dynamic, curious, and passionate. An open and inclusive environment where you can build networks, create new connections, and share meaningful moments side by side with artists, technicians, and cultural professionals. Whether you’re from Bolzano or beyond, you’ll find a space where you can feel part of something bigger.
Most importantly, you’ll have the chance to work closely with artists, audiences, and professionals from the cultural sector – a hands-on opportunity to learn, develop new skills, and challenge yourself in an inspiring international context.
In exchange for your time and enthusiasm, you’ll receive a range of benefits designed to support you in your role and help you fully experience the festival:
-
free access to festival events (one free ticket per performance) during your shift/assigned volunteer period;
-
meal vouchers for BoDA (if you work at least 6 hours in a day) and discounts at bars and restaurants affiliated with the festival;
-
a certificate of participation to enrich your CV;
-
official festival merchandise (because style matters!);
-
insurance coverage and liability protection.
Your time matters. Join the Bolzano Danza volunteer team!
By volunteering, you become part of a collective project that leaves a mark on the city and those who live it. Every small gesture has value, and every form of participation is culture in action. A festival like this is built together, day by day, person by person.
How to apply
Fill out this form by Sunday, June 8, 2025!
You’ll be notified of the selection results by email. Starting in early July, selected volunteers will be invited to attend a series of information meetings with the Festival team. Don’t miss the chance to experience the festival from the inside!
> The volunteer project is carried out in collaboration with Young Inside, a social enterprise engaged in cultural planning, local development, and social innovation. They will also manage all administrative and legal aspects to ensure a smooth and safe experience!
