Bolzano’s biggest dance party returns. No ticket required.
On July 18th, the Prati del Talvera becomes something between a festival, a neighborhood gathering, and a very large impromptu dance floor. Now in its second edition, ExtraDanza brings together folk dancers, flamenco performers, capoeira practitioners, Bollywood dancers, hip hop crews, and much more — all in the same open-air space, all on the same afternoon. There are workshops for every level and interest, from Lindy Hop to Afro Caribbean to contemporary. There are performances worth watching and dances worth joining. It’s free. It’s open to all ages. And it’s exactly the kind of afternoon that’s hard to explain but easy to enjoy.
