Individuals, associations and companies can support Bolzano Danza Festival and help promote the arts in South Tyrol in a number of ways. The festival is a cultural event which breaks down language and cultural barriers to build community. It involves music, design, architecture and the visual arts. When you support the festival, you support culture, integration, sustainability and… beauty!
Call for Volunteers
Published on 20.05.2026
Want to experience an international festival from the inside — surrounded by art, movement, and creative energy?
From 16 to 31 July 2026, Bolzano Danza transforms Bolzano into a vibrant open stage: performances, outdoor events, and encounters with artists from around the world will bring the city’s parks, theatres, and public spaces to life. And you can be part of it.
Who we're looking for
We’re looking for curious, enthusiastic people who love live arts and want to see what happens behind the scenes. No previous experience needed — what matters is reliability, team spirit, and a genuine desire to get involved. A driving licence is a plus, as is English (other languages always welcome!).
What you'll need
- be at least 18 years old
- be available for at least 7 days or evenings during the Festival (16–31 July)
- attend 2–3 coordination meetings in early July
Shifts are flexible and adapted to different roles and personal schedules.
What you'll do
You’ll be right at the heart of the festival, supporting the team across different areas — from production and communication to audience care. Activities may include:
- welcoming artists, guests, and audiences
- managing the Festival Info Point at BoDa (our hub at Parco dei Cappuccini)
- supporting performances and outdoor events
- driver/runner roles for staff and artists
- distributing programmes and flyers
- helping with venue setup
- supporting social media and content creation
What's in it for you
More than anything, you’ll be part of a real community — dynamic, curious, and passionate. You’ll work alongside artists, technicians, and cultural professionals, build new connections, and gain hands-on experience in an international environment.
Plus, you’ll receive:
- free access to Festival events (one ticket per performance, subject to availability)
- meal vouchers at BoDa and discounts at partner venues
- official Festival merchandise
- a certificate of participation for your CV
- insurance coverage throughout your shifts
Ready? Here's how to apply
We’d love to have you on board — come and make Bolzano Danza 2026 happen with us!
In partnership with Young Inside — a social enterprise active in cultural design, territorial development, and social innovation, supporting volunteers throughout the entire Festival experience.
